Robotics Senior Project Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Project Engineer at Movu Robotics, you will act as the technical lead for complex racking and robotics projects, guiding them from hand‑over through to final implementation. You will work closely with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical feasibility, safety compliance, and high‑quality delivery within agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact and technical lead for assigned robotics projects.
• Translate stakeholder documentation into efficient technical solutions, identifying risks and missing information.
• Coordinate technical requirements, specifications, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce, review, and validate technical drawings, calculations, layouts, and reports for customer approval.
• Conduct CAD design reviews, interface checks, collision validations, and layout approvals.
• Mentor junior and medior engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and continuous improvement.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Ensure machine safety by coordinating safety concepts, matrices, and validations.
• Support project planning, budgeting, milestone tracking, and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technical lead on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess documentation and define optimal solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to mentor and coordinate engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD design and review.
• Experience with technical documentation, calculations, and layout validation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and QSHE compliance.
