Road Package Manager – Farciennes

About the role

We are looking for a Package Manager responsible for the complete delivery of the road package on the Farciennes site. The role requires leading the road construction team, coordinating with project stakeholders and ensuring the package is executed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align the road package strategy with overall project goals.
• Contribute to project plans, budgets and schedules specific to the road package.
• Ensure compliance with all contract terms and conditions.
• Lead the road construction team, providing technical expertise in earthworks, pavement works, drainage, road infrastructure and utilities.
• Review design drawings and specifications to identify cost‑saving and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, guaranteeing quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and subcontractors for efficient execution of road works.
• Implement rigorous quality‑control measures and ensure adherence to standards, regulations, environmental and safety requirements.
• Manage resources – personnel, equipment and materials – to maximise efficiency.
• Identify risks related to road construction and develop proactive mitigation and contingency plans.

Required profile

• Strong leadership with the ability to manage multidisciplinary road construction teams.
• Extensive knowledge of road construction processes and techniques.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality and compliance.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling and resource optimisation.
• Capability to assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
