Receptionist – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist to join the Thon Hotel team in Brussels. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay by delivering professional and personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle reservations.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to e‑mails and process invoices efficiently.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality or front‑desk role (nice to have but not mandatory).
• Strong customer‑orientation with a passion for making people happy.
• Excellent communication skills in English, French and Dutch.
• Flexible attitude towards varying shift lengths and schedules.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e‑mail, invoicing, reservation systems).
