Quality, Safety & Environmental Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Quality, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead our Brussels chocolate production site. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of product quality, food safety, occupational health and environmental stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality control activities, manage non-conformities, conduct root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the food safety and quality management system, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 certification schemes.
• Supervise supplier qualification and raw‑material approval processes to guarantee product integrity.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with food‑safety, packaging and quality legislation.
• Promote a proactive health‑and‑safety culture, identify workplace risks, lead incident investigations and drive preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, track performance indicators and support initiatives to reduce the site’s environmental footprint.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality, safety and environmental management within a food‑production environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 standards.
• Ability to analyse quality trends, customer complaints and production deviations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for root‑cause analysis and incident investigation.
