Quality Manager – Automotive Division

About the role

As Quality Manager you will be the driving force behind the quality department at our Gijzegem site, overseeing product and process quality and leading a dedicated team. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and act as the primary contact for internal and external audits, OEMs and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality function, managing the Quality Engineer, Production Assistant, Quality Auditors and Final Inspectors.
• Guide internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Implement and monitor quality standards on the shop floor, maintaining a regular presence to safeguard KPIs.
• Support the EHS Manager and contribute to achieving EHS KPI targets.
• Ensure the management system complies with applicable legislation and international standards.

Required profile

• Master of Science or engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in quality management, preferably within an automotive supplier.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to work under pressure.
