Quality Incoming Inspector – Aerospace

About the role

The Quality Incoming Inspector ensures that all incoming aeronautical parts, materials and components meet engineering specifications, regulatory standards and company quality requirements. This position is essential for maintaining airworthiness, safety and traceability throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of aircraft parts, components and raw materials against engineering drawings, purchase orders and supplier documentation.
• Verify compliance with regulatory and customer requirements such as EASA, BMAA and AS standards.
• Review and validate certification documents, including Certificates of Conformity and airworthiness certificates.
• Conduct visual, dimensional and functional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Identify, document and report non‑conformities, initiate NCRs and support corrective actions.
• Maintain full traceability of parts and documentation and keep inspection records in accordance with the quality management system.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering and supplier quality teams.
• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and ensure compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical degree in Engineering, Aerospace or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace or aviation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical documentation.
• Fluency in French and English (written and read).

Required skills

• Use of inspection tools and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, specifically SAP and its quality modules.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.
