Quality Assurance (QA) & Test Engineer

About the role

Craftzing is looking for a QA & Test Engineer who will act as the guardian of quality for digital products built for top‑tier clients. You will bridge the gap between promised features and shipped software, ensuring reliability through both manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and clients to understand requirements and define quality criteria.
• Develop, document and execute clear, comprehensive test cases, including manual and regression testing.
• Automate tests using Playwright (or Cypress) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage test execution and tracking with tools such as TestRail.
• Perform API testing with Postman or Bruno and report findings.
• Identify quality risks early, propose pragmatic solutions, and communicate status to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with a pragmatic mindset.
• Hands‑on experience in both manual and automated software testing.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Located in Belgium and able to work on‑site with clients when needed.

Required skills

• Playwright or Cypress for test automation.
• TestRail for test management.
• CI/CD pipeline integration.
• API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Sentry or Grafana.
• Experience with AI‑tooling in testing workflows.
• Knowledge of load testing and security/PEN testing.
