Python Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer who will follow Elia's standards and deliver high‑quality code across backend and frontend components. The role combines backend service development, AI‑related work, DevOps practices, and front‑end UI creation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Python services using FastAPI.
• Develop and expose APIs, integrate messaging queues (RabbitMQ) and manage database schemas in SQL Server or PostgreSQL via SQLAlchemy.
• Implement security protocols such as SAML, OAuth and EntraID.
• Write automated tests with Pytest and ensure code quality.
• Contribute to AI agent creation, LLM integration and related research (optional).
• Support DevOps pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, ArgoCD).
• Collaborate on front‑end features using React, JavaScript, CSS and NX for micro‑frontend architecture.

Required profile

• Strong background in Python development and FastAPI.
• Experience with messaging systems, relational databases and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with modern security standards and testing frameworks.
• Interest or experience in AI/LLM technologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work on both backend and front‑end tasks.
