Purchasing & Procurement Consultant

About the role

Intys is looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Consultant to join its dynamic team. You will drive supplier selection, negotiate contracts and ensure the timely delivery of raw materials or finished goods across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage full supplier selection processes.
• Source new suppliers for specific business needs and launch RFQs.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end RFP processes and lead project negotiations.
• Create, execute, and monitor supplier contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Dutch‑speaking suppliers.
• Ensure on‑time delivery and quality, measuring performance through KPIs.
• Perform daily buying activities using ERP systems.
• Draft technical requirements, place orders, and apply procurement best practices.
• Participate in challenging procurement projects across manufacturing, logistics, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Purchasing or Procurement.
• At least 5 years of experience in an industrial, retail, energy or life‑sciences environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to adapt to stakeholders, drive cost‑savings and negotiate effectively.
• Proactive mindset; experience in public procurement is a plus.
