Proposal Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Proposal Management Director, you will lead the development of large, complex proposals (generally over $5M) with a focus on commercial elements, pricing, and compliance with Westinghouse governance. The position is based in Nivelles with hybrid work options and occasional travel to customer sites or industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the offer development process, including schedule creation, responsibility matrix, and coordination of RFQ inputs.
• Organise bid/no‑bid decisions, kick‑off meetings, and status reviews.
• Develop full commercial bid descriptions, pricing, terms of payment, T&C’s and offer validity.
• Collaborate with Customer Solutions Manager to build cost models and integrate cost elements, margins, and escalation factors.
• Ensure adherence to governance procedures, prepare LOA documentation and presentations.
• Support financial objectives, risk mitigation, and pricing strategy development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with IT tools such as SAP, D365, PowerBI, and PRIME.
