Project Supervisor

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee the mechanical scope of complex engineering projects in Geel, Belgium. You will lead foremen and tradespeople, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance on site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe working environment, develop method statements and conduct toolbox talks.
• Ensure right‑first‑time quality, manage QA documentation, welder qualifications and punch‑list closure.
• Coordinate mechanical work delivery, monitor attendance, and participate in daily whiteboard meetings.
• Develop and maintain L3 schedules, 6‑week labour look‑aheads and weekly work plans.
• Manage NCRs, resolve non‑conformances and liaise with other trades to avoid conflicts.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction teams on mechanical projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, quality procedures and construction documentation.
• Ability to lead foremen, train trades and drive performance on site.
