Project Manager – Semiconductor Manufacturing (Freelance, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to support a leading semiconductor manufacturing client in Leuven on a long‑term freelance basis. The role is hybrid, combining weekly visits to the client’s office with remote work, and focuses on overseeing chip production projects from wafer to final output.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary client‑facing point of contact, providing regular updates on chip production status.
• Coordinate project activities across design, wafer processing, and production teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables while maintaining alignment with customer expectations.
• Travel to the Leuven office on a weekly basis and work remotely for the remainder of the time.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and the semiconductor customer.

Required profile

• Proven experience working for a semiconductor customer or supplier.
• Solid understanding of the wafer‑to‑production flow in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong project management background with ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on a freelance, long‑term contract and travel weekly to Leuven.
