Project Manager

About the role

CGI is looking for a Project Manager to lead complex, client‑facing projects in Belgium. The role combines strong leadership, organizational expertise, and a focus on delivering high‑quality results on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and guide project teams in partnership with Engagement or Program Managers.
• Maintain control over schedules, budgets and deliverables while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with client stakeholders, providing regular communication and updates.
• Identify, manage and resolve risks, issues and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track and report project financials, ensuring accuracy and margin control.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and process optimisation.
• Ensure adherence to CGI Management Foundation, client guidelines, confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects.
• Ability to motivate multicultural, cross‑functional teams and foster collaboration.
• Strong, assertive communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving, risk‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, Agile (PMI‑ACP, SAFe POPM) or equivalent.
