Project Manager – Building Automation / HVAC Controls

About the role

A client of Clear is looking for an organised, technically minded Project Manager to lead building automation projects from handover through to completion. The role covers the technical, commercial and operational delivery of projects, working closely with customers, suppliers and engineering teams, with real ownership of each project.

Key responsibilities

• Manage building automation and HVAC controls projects from start to finish
• Plan and monitor project schedules
• Prepare project documentation and technical information
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries
• Manage project costs and track financial performance
• Lead software and service engineers throughout project delivery
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams
• Manage project changes, variations and additional works
• Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards

Required profile

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline
• Experience managing technical or building services projects
• Strong planning, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Proactive approach focused on high-quality results

Required skills

• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls or building automation is highly desirable
