Project Communications Officer

About the role
Spektrum is looking for a Project Communications Officer to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) on the ITM Recovery Increment 1 (ITM RC1) project. The role will manage communications for a modernisation effort that replaces legacy networks with a private‑cloud operational network across the NATO Command Structure.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plans for the ITM RC1 project.
- Coordinate with NATO stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging.
- Produce briefings, reports and updates for senior leadership and partner agencies.
- Manage information flow related to cyber security, satellite communications, command and control, and electronic warfare services.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with NATO communication standards.
- Support the dissemination of project milestones and outcomes to internal and external audiences.
Required profile
- Proven experience in communications within defence, government or multinational environments.
- Familiarity with NATO structures or large‑scale security projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and operational teams.
