Project Buyer – Retail & Support (Procurement Officer)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Project Buyer – Retail & Support to join a dynamic procurement organization focused on strategic sourcing, value creation, and supply‑chain optimisation. In this role you will lead procurement projects across indirect spend categories and help transform procurement into a strategic business partner.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and RFx processes, from market analysis to contract award.
• Define and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate needs into procurement solutions.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts while monitoring performance.
• Identify market trends, supplier innovations and optimisation opportunities.
• Drive innovation, sustainable sourcing initiatives and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Experience in strategic or project procurement, preferably within indirect spend.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a strong business orientation.
• Autonomous, proactive and collaborative working style.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a strong asset.
