Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Rolls‑Royce Solutions Liège is seeking a Production Manager to lead its manufacturing cell in Grace‑Hollogne, Belgium. You will be responsible for driving safety, quality, cost efficiency and on‑time delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a Zero Harm safety culture and ensure team compliance with HSE standards.
• Guarantee product safety by adhering to engineering specifications and fostering a safety‑first mindset.
• Drive Zero Defects through cross‑functional collaboration and strict quality compliance.
• Manage people and cell cost‑centre budgets, improving productivity and reducing consumable costs.
• Plan production using load and capacity tools, control WIP and inventory, and meet delivery commitments.
• Develop a flexible, skilled team through training, coaching and performance management.
• Implement and sustain Lean Production System standards, encouraging continuous improvement.
• Lead, motivate and empower team members, delegating decision‑making authority.
• Optimize manufacturing assets to maximise facility productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, product safety, quality management and cost control.
• Ability to plan capacity, manage inventory and meet delivery targets.
• Leadership skills to develop, coach and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Experience applying Lean principles and driving continuous improvement.
