Product Designer – Conversational AI

About the role

We are looking for a Product Designer to shape the future of our Conversational AI platform. You will design and evolve chatbot and AI experiences across Chatlayer core, bot templates, and campaign creation, helping to turn good‑enough interfaces into truly great ones.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design for the Conversational AI product area, from problem framing to production‑ready deliverables.
• Drive discovery workshops with product managers and engineers to ensure the right problems are solved.
• Raise the craft bar through thoughtful interactions, visual design, microcopy, and handling edge cases.
• Use research and data to validate assumptions and inform design decisions.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system for consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with a fast‑moving, cross‑functional team.

Required profile

• Experience designing B2B SaaS products, preferably in self‑serve or product‑led environments.
• Strong design craft across layout, typography, interaction, and visual systems with a clear point of view.
• Comfortable owning the full design process from discovery to delivery.
• Outcome‑driven mindset focused on impact rather than output.
• Clear communicator and strong collaborator with product managers and engineers.
• Portfolio demonstrating problem framing, trade‑off decisions, and solution delivery.

Required skills

• Fluent in Figma.
• Experience working with design systems.
