Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, communicative Procurement Specialist to join our team at Nipro Medical’s EMEA headquarters in Mechelen, Belgium. You will play a strategic role in ensuring the competitiveness, quality, and stability of our supply base across finished products, manufacturing Capex, raw materials, packaging, and value‑adding services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead critical strategic projects aligned with Nipro’s 5‑year growth plan, coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage existing suppliers, resolve product changes, price, order, and delivery issues, and oversee new product RFQs and supplier introductions.
• Prepare contracts, negotiate terms, and coordinate reviews with internal departments.
• Support data preparation and long‑term procurement strategies through market analysis, trend monitoring, and operational data analysis.
• Ensure all activities comply with ISO 13485 Quality Management System and sustainability requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic procurement within a manufacturing or medical‑device environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple European entities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset.
