Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

About the role

Redwire Space is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and vendor management for its cutting‑edge space systems. The role will act as the commercial guardian of supplier relationships, ensuring value, risk mitigation and supply‑chain resilience across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute 12‑ to 36‑month procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, select and manage suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality and service.
• Drive cross‑project sourcing to leverage scale and avoid siloed activities.
• Lead end‑to‑end RFI/RFP processes, draft, negotiate and administer contracts and subcontractor agreements.
• Serve as primary escalation point for commercial issues, manage contract change notices and resolve disputes.
• Analyze spend data to uncover cost‑saving opportunities and deliver measurable savings.
• Maintain spend transparency through reporting, analytics and procurement dashboards.
• Support budget planning, financial forecasting and supplier performance development.

Required profile

• Commercially minded procurement professional with strong negotiation and strategic sourcing experience.
• Proven ability to build long‑term supplier partnerships and manage risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering value while maintaining quality and continuity.
