Procurement Manager – Data Centre Construction (Belgium)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support a data centre construction project in Belgium. You will work closely with the Procurement Director, engineering, and quantity surveying teams to ensure cost‑effective sourcing and delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Director with construction procurement and logistics.
• Identify, evaluate, and source subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineering and QS teams to develop budgets based on bills of quantities and cost‑effectiveness analyses.
• Support bidding documents and contracts, monitoring design changes and adjusting budget forecasts.
• Negotiate scopes of service, work schedules, and terms with preferred suppliers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Degree qualified, ideally Chartered with the Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
• Minimum 10 years’ procurement/supply‑chain experience on complex construction projects.
• Previous experience with established main contractors within the EU.
• Right to live and work in the EU.

Required skills

• Knowledge of INCOTERMS.
• Expertise in customs procedures for exporting and importing goods.
• Understanding of the procurement lifecycle.
• Familiarity with commercial, transportation, and insurance contracts.
