Procurement Lead – High-Tech Manufacturing

About the role

Join Xeryon, a fast-growing Belgian high-tech company that designs precision piezo motors, as a Procurement Lead in Kessel-Lo. You will be the operational engine that keeps the manufacturing line running, ensuring on-time delivery and cost competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Translate procurement strategy into daily actions to achieve near 100 % on-time delivery.
• Serve as first point of contact for supplier quality escalations, minimizing production downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on design-to-cost initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery times with a focus on uninterrupted production.
• Manage the full cost cycle beyond unit prices and maintain accurate data in the ERP system.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands-on procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of technical components and ability to discuss design optimisations with R&D and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, calm under high-stakes quality escalations.
• Proactive “do-er” attitude with a focus on execution rather than meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a significant advantage.
