Procurement Category Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Category Manager to support a global pharmaceutical organisation’s Talent spend portfolio. The role will work across Talent Management, Leadership Development, contingent workforce projects and continuous improvement initiatives, translating business priorities into structured procurement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide procurement and project support for a broad Talent spend portfolio.
• Manage supplier relationships and governance for HR/Talent services, training, contingent workforce and professional services.
• Develop demand‑management frameworks and stakeholder guidance.
• Prepare RFI/RFQ documentation, conduct supplier comparisons and commercial analysis.
• Support contracting in collaboration with Procurement and Legal teams.
• Report on spend, monitor supplier performance and track actions.
• Drive process improvement, knowledge management and programme enhancements.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, supplier management or HR/Talent services categories.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders in an international environment.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with Procurement, Talent, HR, Finance, Legal and suppliers.
• Strong interest in improving ways of working, supplier governance and stakeholder experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, HR, Supply Chain, Finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent English; French and/or Dutch are a plus.
