Platform & DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Platform & DevOps Engineer to own the operation of a highly‑available Kubernetes‑based cloud platform. You will ensure the environment stays secure, reliable, and performant while supporting critical business applications and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production Kubernetes clusters, including multi‑cluster management, ingress controllers, service discovery, and workload identity.
• Troubleshoot pod lifecycle, networking, scheduling, resource utilization, and overall cluster performance.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain and improve the observability stack (metrics, logs, distributed tracing) and refine alerting to reduce false positives.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, changes, and maintenance following structured change‑management processes.
• Manage security controls such as RBAC, network segmentation, secrets management, and apply security patches.
• Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating production‑grade Kubernetes environments at scale.
• Strong background in incident response, RCA, and documentation of runbooks.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with automation, IaC, and GitOps workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, on‑call environment.
