Plant Manager - Heavy Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a heavy‑industry facility, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across production, maintenance, supply‑chain and QHSE functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, maintenance, supply‑chain and QHSE managers to enhance efficiency and optimise the production layout.
• Ensure cost control and operational excellence so that output consistently meets market demand.
• Coordinate with sister sites to share best practices in automation, continuous improvement, health and safety.
• Promote an innovation and change‑management mindset throughout the organisation and cascade the vision to all levels.
• Work closely with supply‑chain teams to align product delivery with channel objectives.
• Maintain constructive relationships with work councils and represent employee interests.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of plant‑management experience in heavy industry or machinery.
• Master’s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven ability to operate in complex environments and manage work‑council relations.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
