Plant HR Manager

About the role

Ecolab is looking for a Plant HR Manager to lead all human‑resources activities at its manufacturing site. The role combines operational HR delivery with strategic partnership, supporting a safe, compliant and high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR processes on site, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, development and absence management.
• Advise local management on workforce planning, staffing, internal mobility and talent development.
• Coach team leaders and managers in their people‑management responsibilities.
• Translate national and international HR projects into the plant context and ensure timely implementation.
• Build constructive relationships with union partners and maintain a transparent social climate.
• Provide social consultation support, identify potential tensions early and contribute to balanced solutions.
• Drive the Learning & Development agenda, linking local needs to plant objectives.
• Optimize and harmonise HR processes, share best practices across sites, and oversee MyEcolab case management and Workday administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a plant or industrial environment.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience working with unions and handling social consultation.

Required skills

• Workday HRIS proficiency.
