Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller provides financial leadership at the plant level, ensuring strong performance, robust internal controls, and effective partnership with operations. This role supports OCF’s European entities in a complex, multi‑jurisdiction environment and reports to the regional manufacturing finance leader.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and monthly closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports, projections and analyse variances against plan.
• Drive working capital and profitability targets.
• Provide analytics and decision support for operational, CAPEX and investment decisions.
• Educate plant teams on financial KPIs, cost management and productivity improvement.
• Promote a zero‑loss mindset and lead cost‑deployment initiatives.
• Maintain a strong internal control framework and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Act as a finance coach for non‑financial leaders, building financial acumen across the plant.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of professional experience in manufacturing finance or plant controlling.
• Strong ownership, team orientation and ability to partner with operational leaders.

Required skills

• Manufacturing costing expertise.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
