Planning Manager – Large‑Scale Construction Projects

About the role

Elusav Recruitment is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead planning activities for a high‑profile data centre project in Mons, Belgium. Reporting to the Managing Director of the Business Unit and sitting on the Divisional Management Team, you will shape delivery strategy and ensure robust schedule control across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Own all planning aspects for an assigned portfolio of large‑scale construction projects.
• Assess and report schedule risk levels, implement planning SOPs, and maintain progress systems.
• Hire, train, coach, and lead planning staff while promoting schedule literacy across teams.
• Provide planning training to MDs, OMs, PMs, CMs, and construction crews.
• Support bids, tenders, claim preparation, and contractual dispute data.
• Communicate with clients on planning matters and troubleshoot planning issues on site.
• Cover Divisional Planning Manager and Senior Planner duties as needed, including travel to project sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of planning experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Ability to develop programmes from drawings, models, or statements of work.
