Packaging Developer – Tortilla & Chips

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Developer who will focus on tortilla and chips packaging for our iconic brands. Based in Roeselare, Belgium, you will join the R&D Packaging team and report to the Head of R&D, collaborating with colleagues in Belgium, Sweden and Finland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test new and existing tortilla and chips packaging solutions in line with portfolio road‑maps and sustainability targets.
• Continuously improve the current packaging range by evaluating functionality, quality and cost efficiency.
• Support production sites by contributing to improvement projects and resolving packaging line issues.
• Conduct performance testing, refine testing methods and document results.
• Present concepts, technologies and training materials to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate packaging data and manage changes in ERP and PLM systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in food or packaging technology or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in the food or packaging industry.
• Goal‑oriented, flexible and able to manage several projects independently.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with PLM data management.
