About the role

Cargill is looking for a Production Operator to work on one to two chocolate lines in a 3‑shift environment. You will ensure each batch is produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, from melting to packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, start, changeover and adjust production and molding lines according to procedures.
• Monitor parameters such as temperature, speed, levels and product quality; perform and record quality checks.
• Operate packaging equipment, seal and tape machines and coordinate with packaging staff.
• Troubleshoot first‑line faults, clear blockages and carry out basic maintenance.
• Assist with liquid chocolate handling, verify documentation and conduct volume measurements.
• Clean, sanitize and keep production lines orderly in line with food‑safety requirements.
• Record production and quality data, report incidents and participate in shift handovers.
• Collaborate with fellow operators, packaging personnel and maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.

Required profile

• Basic experience operating machines or demonstrable technical insight.
• Willingness to learn and apply food‑safety, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Readiness to work in a 24/7, three‑shift schedule.
• Basic PC skills for data entry and tracking.
• Good oral communication in Dutch; basic English is a plus.
• Collegial attitude and accuracy in quality and safety tasks.
