Offshore Service Technician – Oostende

About the role

Vestas is seeking an Offshore Service Technician to join its Nobelwind team in Oostende, Belgium. You will work on wind turbines located in the North Sea, performing maintenance and upgrades while contributing to a greener energy future.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical turbine systems.
• Perform inspections, repairs and component replacements as directed by the supervisor.
• Create and follow up on work orders and material consumption records.
• Operate condition‑monitoring and remote‑control systems to ensure turbine reliability.
• Support a safe working environment and comply with Vestas and client procedures.

Required profile

• Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school, college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• Residence in Belgium or within 50 km of Oostende, or willingness to relocate at personal expense.
