Officer Communications

About the role

MedTech Europe is seeking an Officer Communications to join its dynamic Communications team. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will help translate complex healthcare and technology topics into engaging digital content for EU institutions and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, adapt and schedule digital content across the website, newsletters and social media, tracking performance and reporting key metrics.
• Own day‑to‑day media and social monitoring, flagging relevant coverage, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the designer on visual assets for newsletters, reports and events, ensuring brand alignment.
• Maintain content calendars, task trackers and shared timelines, and provide administrative support for team meetings and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, European Studies, Languages/Translation or a related field.
• First experience in digital communications, content production or project coordination (internships count).
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English; ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Strong organisational skills, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CMS/website platforms.
• Familiarity with email/newsletter tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
• Use of social media management tools.
• Design tools like Canva; Adobe Suite is a plus.
