Network Security Engineer – Global Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to protect and optimise a global network that serves over 1,350 users across 30+ locations on four continents. You will work with both office and production environments, ensuring high‑performance, resilient, and secure connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in network‑related projects and execute security operations and optimisation tasks.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision‑making for network and security designs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day security incidents affecting systems and end users.
• Investigate suspicious activities, analyse inconsistencies, and produce security reports for management and technical teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process, environment, and end‑user documentation.
• Provide backup Team Lead support when required.
• Stay current on emerging security trends across End‑User Workplace, Networking, Cloud, OT, and Server/Virtualisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in networking and cybersecurity within large, multi‑site organisations.
• Hands‑on background working in SOC/NOC environments with incident detection, monitoring and response.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and IT/OT segmentation.
