Mobile Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Software Developer to bridge our complex ERP backend with end‑users on the shop floor, building intuitive, high‑performance mobile applications that improve the efficiency of thousands of hospital employees.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and the Android Jetpack ecosystem.
• Translate functional requirements into high‑quality technical solutions, contributing to architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture), security and UX/UI.
• Integrate apps with backend systems and use Firebase services for monitoring, analytics and messaging.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of projects, from analysis and development through release and user support.
• Stay up‑to‑date with mobile trends and be ready to expand to iOS or cross‑platform frameworks as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong expertise in Android development with a broad interest in the mobile landscape.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Team‑player attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and learn.

Required skills

• Kotlin (including Coroutines & Flow) and Android SDK.
• Jetpack Compose for modern UI.
• Architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture and Dependency Injection (e.g., Koin).
• Firebase services: Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Firestore.
• REST API integration using Retrofit, OkHttp or Ktor client.
• Local data storage with Room.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft tools and SQL Server.
