Mobile Engineer

About the role

Join Arch-i, the intelligent health platform of erudite.health, as a Mobile Engineer. You will be responsible for building and evolving the patient‑facing app that empowers users to manage their health through personalized, clinically‑validated advice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin) patient app, delivering production‑ready code.
• Implement reliable camera scanning functionality to feed the vision pipeline.
• Ensure the app is fast, stable, and accessible on a wide range of devices.
• Integrate with backend engines via APIs, handling state, caching, and offline behavior.
• Apply privacy‑by‑design principles, including secure storage and GDPR‑compliant consent flows.
• Set up automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring to make releases predictable.
• Own the full lifecycle from concept through store release and post‑launch monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
• Proven track record of shipping apps to the App Store or Google Play.
• Fluent in Dutch and professional English.
• Experience with camera, computer vision, or on‑device image processing is a plus.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, app store automation, design, and accessibility is a plus.
• Background in health, care, or regulated environments is a plus.
