ML Platform Solution Architect & Engineer

About the role

The ML Platform Solution Architect & Engineer will be a central figure in the ML Platform team, driving the technology that powers machine‑learning‑driven features such as search and recommendations for DPG Media’s flagship apps. The role combines strategic architecture with hands‑on engineering to ensure a scalable, secure, and high‑performing platform for the entire data and product development community.

Key responsibilities

• Advise DPG Media on ML platform technologies, their configuration, evolution and alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Monitor and guide adoption of these technologies across the organization, ensuring compliance with governance principles.
• Collaborate with the Data Area Manager and Data Domain Architect to define priorities and maintain architectural coherence.
• Translate long‑term architectural vision into concrete platform features, managing technical dependencies.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and model deployment issues as a hands‑on technical expert.
• Develop and maintain expertise in the core MLOps stack (Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Act as a bridge between platform users (Data Scientists, ML Engineers) and the engineering team, turning challenges into robust solutions.
• Contribute to engineering culture by defining best practices, documenting solutions and participating in guilds and communities of practice.

Required profile

• Experienced IT professional with a solid background in platform architecture and engineering.
• Proven ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate closely with product owners and data stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
