Media Planning Executive

About the role

Publicis Groupe Belgium's Strategy & Data team is looking for a Media Planning Executive in Brussels. This is a starter position within the Media Planning focus team, where you will build a solid foundation in media planning alongside colleagues who share playlists, and follow a clear path forward in the practice. You work closely with Media Planning Managers and Directors, helping turn client briefs and strategies into concrete media plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support managers and directors in turning client briefs and strategies into media recommendations and plans
• Help prepare media plans, presentations and internal briefings, and learn about audiences, touchpoints, budgets and campaign phasing
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate deliverables, meet deadlines and support campaign launches
• Take part in client calls and presentations and coordinate follow-up actions with Client Leads, managers and directors
• Coordinate campaign assets and liaise with media partners and sales houses where needed
• Support competitive benchmarking of clients and competitors and turn findings into input for future recommendations
• Support campaign reporting with Data Analysts and Touchpoint Experts and identify learnings for future plans
• Support administrative and financial follow-up, including invoicing, and coordinate media planning for international clients with global hubs
• Build knowledge of media, audiences and platforms and gradually take ownership of parts of the planning process

Required profile

• Curious, honest, brave and generous, taking ownership of your work
• Strong interest in brands, marketing, communication and media
• First understanding of marketing objectives, advertising strategy and/or the consumer-media relationship
• Comfortable working with numbers, data and budgets, with attention to detail
• Critical mindset, organised and able to manage several tasks and deadlines
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and with experienced colleagues
• Fluent in English and Dutch
