Material Planner

About the role

UCB is seeking a proactive Material Planner to join the Clinical Manufacturing team at its Braine-l’Alleud campus. You will ensure that all materials required for production are available on time, supporting the delivery of life‑changing therapies to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material planning from forecasting through delivery to guarantee supply continuity.
• Create, follow‑up, and validate purchase orders in SAP, including invoice verification.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortage risks and take preventive actions.
• Work closely with quality, production and supply‑chain colleagues to align material release with manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain accurate master data and supplier information.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and operational‑excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or a related discipline.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as biopharma.
• Proven background in operational procurement or material planning.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Fluency in French and English.
