About the role
EDF Power Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team in Ghent. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on keeping industrial machinery and systems running efficiently while supporting the company’s renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults, implementing timely repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics to guide maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve equipment reliability and address unexpected issues.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and maintenance regulations.
Required profile
- Technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance (preferred).
- Proven experience in equipment, preventive and industrial maintenance.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to safety standards.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior experience in the energy or industrial sector is a plus.
