Maintenance Process Engineer

About the role

Mondelēz International is seeking a Maintenance Process Engineer to lead the transition from reactive maintenance to a professional, reliability‑focused model. You will act as the bridge between day‑to‑day execution and strategic improvement, ensuring equipment uptime and continuous performance gains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead root‑cause analysis initiatives and ensure follow‑up on findings.
• Identify and permanently eliminate chronic equipment failures.
• Drive MTBF improvement and MTTR reduction projects.
• Optimize preventive maintenance programs for maximum availability.
• Deploy Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles across the site.
• Develop and maintain standardized maintenance processes.
• Provide data‑driven reliability insights and reporting.
• Coach maintenance teams to build problem‑solving capability.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related).
• Proven experience in maintenance reliability, RCM or continuous improvement within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of RCA methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).
• Experience with TPM or World Class Manufacturing frameworks is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
