M&A Tax Consultant – Corporate & Private Equity

About the role

Join Deloitte Belgium’s Global Business Tax team as an M&A Tax Consultant. You will support corporate clients, private equity funds, and other stakeholders throughout the full M&A lifecycle, from due diligence to post‑merger integration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tax due diligence and develop tax structuring solutions for Belgian and cross‑border M&A transactions.
• Advise on the set‑up of investment funds and other investment vehicles.
• Provide guidance on corporate tax, VAT, personal tax, real‑estate transfer tax, and other relevant taxes.
• Collaborate with M&A professionals across Deloitte’s global network.
• Interact with clients and external advisors to analyze complex tax issues and deliver actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in tax advisory or related fields.
• Degree in a business‑related discipline such as law, economics, or finance.
• Strong interest in legal, finance, and accounting aspects of M&A.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
