Logistics & Warehouse Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, quality‑driven Logistics & Warehouse Specialist to join the Clinical Packaging & Logistics Operations team at UCB’s campus in Braine‑l’Alleud, Belgium. The role supports end‑to‑end execution of clinical trial logistics, ensuring timely and compliant distribution of supplies from Phase 1 through Phase 4.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute clinical shipments, returns, destruction and study close‑out activities.
• Prioritise shipments and liaise with carriers, internal stakeholders and external partners to meet timelines.
• Oversee warehouse functions including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing and material dispensing.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, GDP, HSE and UCB quality standards across all logistics processes.
• Investigate issues, contribute to deviation reports and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Record transactions in SAP ERP, generate operational reports and support invoice management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or a related discipline.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution or production environments.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP and HSE requirements; clinical trial supply experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French with strong written and verbal communication.
• Structured, curious and comfortable working in a regulated environment.
