Logistics Team Leader

About the role

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to coordinate its transport operations and drive continuous improvement within its supply chain. You will act as the main liaison with transport partners while leading a dedicated team of logistics professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all transport partners.
• Lead and develop a team of 10 logistics colleagues.
• Define relevant KPIs, generate activity reports and present them to management.
• Conduct daily activity meetings together with the manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and administrative procedures.
• Promote teamwork, inspire staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, evaluate and implement process enhancements and new technologies.
• Maintain effective relationships both inside and outside the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing logistics teams.
• Strong communication, initiative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Legal right to work in Belgium (EU passport or valid work/residence permit).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Knowledge of SAP (a plus).
