Locks & Docks Coordinator – River Cruise Ships

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Locks & Docks Coordinator to support our growing river cruise fleet from our satellite office in Hoogstraten. You will act as the central point for berth reservations, schedule management and port communications, ensuring smooth operations for our ships.

Key responsibilities

• Enter approved itineraries into the Dockmaster system.
• Reserve berths according to ship schedules and monitor reservation processes.
• Update schedules when changes occur and assist with short‑term adjustments.
• Maintain contacts with ports and berth providers.
• Check invoices for port fees, drinking water, shore power, waste disposal, etc.
• Collaborate with the Operations Department, the Therwil office, and the ships.
• Process applications, permits and confirmations administratively.
• Manage email inboxes, documents and schedules.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities with high independence.
• Flexibility, resilience and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Good command of German and English; additional languages are a plus.
