Local Account Manager

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Local Account Manager to own and grow assigned customer accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high‑level service, strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of assigned accounts, understand customer needs, and align expectations.
• Strengthen relationships at all levels within the customer organization and monitor satisfaction.
• Proactively address service issues, manage escalations, and communicate any service irregularities.
• Identify and convert growth opportunities through up‑selling and cross‑selling of Expeditors’ products and services.
• Maintain accurate SOPs, rates, KPIs, and ensure operational teams execute them.
• Use CRM Dynamics for account management, keep data current, and generate performance reports.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and sales teams to deliver value‑added solutions.
