LMCC Engineer – Line Maintenance Coordination

About the role

The LMCC Engineer ensures seamless coordination between line maintenance providers and Air Belgium to minimise the impact of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight operations. Acting as the primary contact for line stations, the role supports the fleet’s ability to operate on time while handling technical disruptions and AOG situations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point for line station providers on routine matters, schedule changes, and support for Flying Support Engineers.
• Report technical disruptions accurately and maintain AIMS data integrity.
• Monitor deferred defects, communicate impacts to stakeholders, and plan corrective actions with contracted maintenance.
• Coordinate AOG response, including parts ordering, logistics, MRO liaison, and out‑of‑hours OEM support.
• Track the active fleet via Boeing AHM to anticipate issues and mitigate operational impacts.
• Provide technical support to flight crews experiencing technical problems.
• Adjust day‑to‑day line‑maintenance planning as required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of aviation regulations (EASA, CAMO, Part 145).
• Knowledge of Boeing B747‑400/800 systems (type rating or proven experience is an asset).
• Part 66 licence is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar coordination role is advantageous.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); French and Dutch are assets.
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.

• Familiarity with EnVision or equivalent MIS
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Experience with Boeing AHM (in‑flight monitoring system)
• Knowledge of AIMS (Aircraft Information Management System)
