Linux Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Linux Security Engineer to manage and harden Red Hat Linux environments, oversee identity management solutions, and respond to security incidents across a multinational infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on technical work with collaboration across international teams and participation in on‑call security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of security assets including Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), monitoring tools and in‑house solutions.
• Perform hardening of Red Hat Linux OS and IdM components such as LDAP and Kerberos.
• Monitor, analyse and respond to security events and incidents, providing third‑line support for authentication, authorization and vulnerability issues.
• Support migration of infrastructure and applications to cloud environments and contribute to Critical Asset Recovery and DORA compliance initiatives.
• Develop, maintain and automate security solutions using Bash, Perl and Ansible.
• Identify, assess and remediate security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in audit campaigns, security control plans, compliance activities and prepare security reports for management.
• Collaborate with international teams and security partners in a multicultural setting.
• Take part in an on‑call rotation for security operations and incident response.
