Line Cook – Food & Beverage Back of House

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. You will prepare dishes to the restaurant’s specifications, maintain high food quality, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present all menu items promptly and according to recipe specifications.
• Stock and replenish line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards consistently.
• Maintain sanitation practices, prevent food contamination, and comply with health regulations.
• Keep workstations, equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.) clean and organized.
• Assist with daily cleaning of pantry, prep areas, and dish stations.
• Report equipment maintenance needs to the Executive Chef.
• Adhere to restaurant policies and the Employee Handbook.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant kitchen.
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule – evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).

Required skills

• Knife skills.
• Basic kitchen equipment operation (grills, fryers, ovens, sauté burners, etc.).
• Food Handler Certification.
