Legal Private Consultant (Start Sep 2026)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Legal Private Consultant to join its multidisciplinary team and support SMEs, start‑ups, scale‑ups and mature tech companies. Starting in September 2026, you will provide pragmatic, strategic legal advice across a range of complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients through critical business decisions such as company formation, corporate governance, succession planning and M&A transactions.
• Draft and review contracts, implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations including GDPR.
• Research emerging legal trends, deliver workshops and seminars, and publish articles for clients.
• Specialise in one domain – business & commercial law, social law, corporate/M&A law, or private governance/estate planning – while collaborating closely with colleagues.
• Become the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients.

Required profile

• Passion for family‑owned businesses and building long‑term client relationships.
• Versatile mindset with willingness to specialise in a chosen legal domain.
• Proactive, client‑facing attitude; comfortable working outside the desk.
• Master of Laws (LL.M.) required; additional law, fiscal or notary qualifications are a plus.
