Lean Project Planner – Construction (Charleroi)

About the role

We are looking for a Lean Project Planner to join our Civil Works Department in Charleroi. The role combines detailed project scheduling with the application of Lean principles to optimise construction workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Translate construction designs into realistic, detailed schedules using MS Project.
• Facilitate Lean planning workshops with subcontractors to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Create visual dashboards that communicate schedule status to all site stakeholders.
• Collaborate daily with Site Managers to ensure the schedule is followed and updated.
• Capture decisions from coordination meetings and immediately reflect them in the project plan.
• Monitor progress, detect early deviations and propose corrective scenarios.
• Report progress and resource planning (equipment and workforce) to the project team and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related technical field.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Accurate, resilient under pressure and highly organised.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to lead coordination meetings.
• Commitment to Lean Management and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Knowledge of Primavera (advantage).
